Ananke's Sabin Muzaffar (seated second from right) attends #WomeninTechPk meet-up in Karachi, Pakistan in July where she met with brilliant CEOs, entrepreneurs, students and emerging stars in Pakistan's tech industry. Technologists, STEMinists & women in media discussed issues creating hurdles for Pakistani women in Tech, including lack of diversity at the corporate level and provision of care facilities, women empowering women as well as the importance of role models and mentoring to empower women. The meet up also stressed the dire need to launch a mentoring program for female students in tech, initially in Karachi, which would connect inspiring female role models with aspiring female students in tech.
