Now in its fourth edition, the Afaaq Leadership Camp features an array of interactive workshops that focus on generating and nurturing leadership skills. The format of the sessions has been designed to enable participating girls to be able to make future decisions with courage and competence and to help them become active members in discussions at the local and international level.

“In keeping with our unwavering commitment to supporting all aspects of the social, psychological and physical development of Emirati girls, we invite young women in the UAE to join the fourth Afaaq Leadership Camp and take part in inspirational workshops and activities designed to foster their leadership skills,” said Sheikha Aisha Khalid Al Qasimi, Director of Sajaya Young Ladies and Head of the Higher Committee of the Afaaq Leadership Camp.

“Our aim through the camp is to elevate participants’ leadership attributes to qualify them to become active and influential players in the building and development of their country, as well as to imbue them with the skills to better represent the UAE in various regional and global forums,” she added.
