The youth is an unstoppable force leading positive social change globally. Making up half of this population, girls are amazing agents of change within their communities and beyond. Observing #DayOfTheGirl, Ananke aims to celebrate aspiring young #women by organizing a digital event Ananke’s The Girl Summit this October, 2021.
Celebrating the Day of the Girl, Ananke plans to hold a virtual summit in October 2021 with our theme ‘Designing Inclusion For A Transformational World’ aligned with that of UNICEF’s for year 2021: Digital Generation, Our Generation.
The Girl Summit is an event with four main segments including Fireside Chat, Panel Discussions, Keynote Speeches and Workshops. Our vision is to harness the immense potential of #girls by enabling them through capacity building activities and by creating opportunities for leadership development through inclusive dialogue.
The event will be accompanied with the publication of Ananke’s special edition focusing Day of the Girl. This will include features, interviews and articles as well as a showcase of organizations and speakers taking part in the event.
