Ananke welcomes long time ally eShe as event partner for AnankeWLF2024

Long time partner and ally, eShe, an independent digital media platform based in New Delhi, India and amplifying women’s voices has once again joined forces with Ananke to celebrate its flagship Women in Literature Festival 2024.

With ideas, inspiration and an intimate look at the world through ‘the female gaze’, eShe has touched the lives of millions of women and men worldwide since its launch in July 2017. eShe is a platform for women leaders from all fields with a vision for peacebuilding. In 2021, eShe hosted an Indo-Pak Peace Summit Led by Women, bringing together eminent women from around the world to discuss solutions for peace in South Asia.

The organization also launched a nonprofit platform, South Asia Union and hosted South Asia Union Summit Led by Women, with 50 speakers from 13 countries.

Expressing her delight to join Ananke WLF, founder Aekta Kapoor said, “Dialogue is the key to sustainable peace built on social justice. By empowering meaningful discussions and debates, Ananke’s Women in Literature Festival is helping to spotlight important issues affecting women in South Asia and the MENA region.”

The fourth edition of Ananke’s flagship event, the Women in Literature Festival, will showcase a diverse set of distinguished speakers especially from across the Global South.

Ananke’s Women in Literature Festival 2024 aims to mobilize change by initiating conversations and dialogue across language, politics and socio-cultural boundaries. The three day event will take place on April 23rd, 2024 remotely and will be live-streamed on Ananke’s Facebook page (@anankemag).

Sabin Muzaffar welcomed eShe onboard, sharing, “eShe has been a long term Ananke partner and ally for not just the Women in Literature Festival but also our Girl Summit. And these alliances have produced amazing outcomes in terms of impactful conversations and great learning especially for university students, whom we had on-boarded to mentor and train. I am excited for our audience to experience the same magic this year as well.”

More exciting announcements are coming soon.
