Celebrating Emirati Women’s Day

Coinciding with the founding of the UAE’s General Women’s Union which began in 1975 on August 28, Emirati Women’s Day was launched by H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF).
